Chats with KlarBot assistants

Last updated October 5, 2026

Who we are

KlarBot is an AI chat assistant that businesses add to their websites. It is operated by KlarForge LLC, 2108 N St Ste N, Sacramento, CA 95816. Each business that uses KlarBot decides what its assistant knows and receives the conversations held on its own website.

What is stored when you chat

The messages you type and the assistant's replies, the page you were on, whether you used a phone or a computer, your browser's language setting, and the time of each message.

If you choose to leave your details for a follow-up (name, phone or email, message) or book an appointment, those details are stored and sent to the business.

We do not ask for or store payment card numbers or passwords in chat. Please don't share them.

Why it is stored

So the business can see the questions its customers ask and follow up with people who asked to be contacted.

So KlarForge can find answers the assistant got wrong or couldn't give, and improve KlarBot. For this, email addresses, phone numbers and card-like numbers are masked before any internal review or automated analysis.

Who can see it

The business whose website you chatted on can see its own conversations. A limited number of KlarForge staff can review masked transcripts to improve the product. AI replies are generated by the business's chosen AI provider (DeepSeek or Google Gemini), which processes each message to produce the answer. We do not sell chat data.

How long it is kept

Message text is deleted automatically after 12 months. Anonymous totals (for example, how many chats a business had per day) are kept longer. A business can delete any of its conversations sooner.

Your choices

You can ask the business you chatted with, or KlarForge at support@klarforge.com, to access or delete a conversation. If you live in California, you have rights under the CCPA, including to know, delete and correct personal information; we do not sell or share it for cross-context advertising.
